At the age of 5, SHALEDA started out dreaming of a career in the music industry, and started playing the guitar. Thou a tough childhood took her on the hard road for some years, she made her way out of a living hell, with drugs and alcohol abusement in the mid teen´s. By this early and negative experience she managed to show her family and relatives, that nothing could keep a hold on her.
Soon her new lifestyle opened up the dream, and gave Shaleda new experiences in the music business. She started to collaborate with some dance producers, which was a part of her process of learning and being productive.
After a lot of recordings in the studios of Copenhagen, SHALEDA started working with musicproducer MICH HOLMBERG in 2008, and finally they made 4 songs that is soon to be released – first in DK, and later on in Asia. The EP is called ”The Breakaway”, and it is a honest, solid and sensual collection of lyrics, musical arrangements and finally serious radio-chart potential material. The style is acoustic produced pop, light rock, with great samples and colouring synths. The titles includes the hit single ”The Breakaway”, a serious song, written by Shaleda & Mich Holmberg.
